The Gold Trail Parent Teacher Organization welcomes all parents and teachers to participate in our activities and events during the year. All parents and teachers of Gold Trail and Sutter's Mill students are automatically members of the PTO. We require no dues but request a donation of $10 or more to help offset expenses such as insurance, postage, and paper. Membership forms are available.
Our meetings are held monthly and we are trying to hold some of the meetings in the evenings for more accessibility for our families. Check out our calendar.

We support many programs for our schools through our fundraisers. Scrip is a convenient way to raise funds without any extra cost to you. Please help us by participating. We raised over $10,000 last year with only 30 parents involved. We can increase that substantially with your help. We also sponsor the Halloween Carnival, Holdiay Gift Shop, a Family Fun Night, and several fundraisers during the year.

Scrip Signing Bonus To Help Reduce Field Trip Cost!
By now, you all know how much field trips cost, both to the school and to us as parents. The Scrip Committee is pleased to announce that we will be donating $10 toward field trips for every new Safeway, Raley’s/BelAir, and/or Food4Less card signed up between now and the end of May. You can specify which grade level you would like to receive the funds, which will be disbursed to the district in August or September. For example if you have a 3rd grader now, you may want to specify that your donation go toward the 4th grade class. Watch for the form to come home with your child, or pick up an extra in the school office. Here’s the fine print, enlarged for your convenience: newly enrolled card(s) must be used at least 3 times between now and July 31st. Currently enrolled cards are not eligible - try asking a neighbor, or co-worker, or grandparent to sign up.
The form has a place to designate your signing bonus by grade level, but if not specified it will be donated to each grade equally. To sign up your existing Safeway card, go to www.escrip.com and follow the instructions. While you’re there, don’t forget to add your other credit/debit cards as well as your Macy’s card.
